FICMES Introduction

Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) is a national foundry industry service organization affiliated to China Mechanical Engineering Society. Since its establishment in 1962, it has been committed to the development of China's foundry industry, continuously strengthening exchanges and cooperation with foundry organizations around the world, and carrying out extensive academic, technical exchanges and trade cooperation activities in the foundry industry at home and abroad, serving the development of China and the global foundry industry consistently. Its member units from the domestic and foreign foundry enterprises, universities and research institutes and other related units.

Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society on behalf of the Chinese in 1978 formally joined the World Foundry Organization (WFO), the commission assume the Ferrous Metals Commission,Non-Ferrous alloys Commission, Molding Materials Commission, the secretariat of the Die Casting Commission and so on four committees work and represent the organization regularly every year to carry out related activities on a global scale.
