Casting Process Design Competition (CPDC in short) is one of the professional events of the Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition China, hosted by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and organized by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society.

There are 107 colleges and 4064 college students participating in the 14^th CPDC which was launched in September 2022. After the preliminary contest, 566 entries completed by 1908 college students were submitted to CPDC Executive Committee for the national final.

At the meeting , the evaluation experts from each group introduced the situation of their respective works on site, and commented and explained the common problems and shortcomings of the works. The experts announce the ranking order of their group's blind review works on site, and the Executive Committee  decrypt the blind review number, and disclose information on the ranked works, including universities, students, and mentors. Finally, 104 recommended defense papers and 273 third prize  were selected and announced on site for the final evaluation.
