The 15th China International Die casting Exhibition (CHINA DIECASTING 2020) and 2020 China Nonferrous Alloys & Special Casting Exhibition (CHINA NONFERROUS 2020) was successfully held at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) on July 15-17, 2020. Corona virus ruined a flying start for the industry at the beginning of this year, but enables those companies with a higher level of digitalization application and intelligent manufacturing to perform more outstandingly in production, market and other aspects. The 15th China International Die Casting Congress and the 6th China Symposium on Nonferrous Alloys and Special Casting Technologies, organized by Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (CMES), Die Casting Commission of the World Foundry Organization and Nonferrous Alloys Commission of the World Foundry Organization, managed by Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society(FICMES), China Foundry Productivity Promotion Center (FPC), State Key Laboratory of Light Alloy Casting Technology for High-end Equipment and Shenyang University of Technology, were successfully held in Shanghai on July 16-17, 2020.
In the theme of "Innovative Development and Practical Application of Nonferrous Alloys and Die Casting Technologies", the congress invited 26 speakers from Ford, Dongfeng, General Motor, Guangdong Hongtu, Dalian Yaming, IKD, Tsinghua University, Harbin Institute of Technology and other automotive OEMs, famous die casting producers, research institutes to discuss digitalization application, intelligent manufacturing, development and application of new materials and other hot topics. The two-day speeches attracted many professional attendees. With high-quality speeches, positive interaction and lively atmosphere, the congress gained recognition from both speakers and listeners.

This year, 82 casting parts produced by 48 companies in total were selected for the next round of "Best Die Casting Competition". After professional, authoritative and rigorous onsite assessment by respectable experts, four casting parts and molds were finally granted with gold award, and ten won excellence award. The awarding ceremony were held onsite on July 16, 2020 to encourage winners.

In spite of the impact of global epidemic and entry controls, the exhibition this year gathered leading exhibitors and brands from NINE countries including China, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, and 11,986 trade visitors working in auto, toy, electrics, communication, medical, metal process industries and other die casting & nonferrous related visitors. 60 purchasing groups from automobile, motorbike, mechanical and electronic industries visited the exhibition.
Considering a lot of visitors couldn't come to site due to the epidemic, this year organizers offer more angles and channels for these visitors.
