With the trust and support by WFO and its members, Foundry Institution of Chinese FICMES will be the host of the 69th World Foundry Congress. We cordially invite you to participate in the 69th WFC to be held in Hangzhou, China in October 16-20, 2010.
The theme chosen for the Congress is Green Foundry. The reason behind this choice is that our world is facing the pressures of energy, resources and environment. Therefore, how to explore new casting technologies and methods for energy conservation and environmental protection is, indeed, a crucial problem that needs to be solved for the sake of harmonious and sustainable development between human society and the nature.
The 69th World Foundry Congress is sponsored by WFO, CMES and FICMES.
WFC2010 will be a golden opportunity for the foundrymen to exchange ideas and develop a common vision for the future of world foundry industry. It will also offer a chance for all participants to have a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
