For making foundry standards play a greater role in foundry practice and international cooperation, guide foundry workers to deeply understand and accurately grasp the technical contents of foundry standards, and execute them correctly in foundry practice, the National Technical Committee 54 on Foundry of Standardization of China organized and compiled the Application Manual of Foundry Standards.

The Manual contains thirty-oneChina domestic standards, and seven international standards for cast iron materials. the National Technical Committee 54 on Foundry of Standardization of Chinaorganized experts worked in the foundry industryfor many of those years to offer interpretation of standards from the technical level. The Manual is planned to be published in 2023.
