On February 22, 2022, College Competition Evaluation and Management System Research Working Team of China Association of Higher Education released the “2021 National College Student Competition Analysis Report” which “Mechanical Engineering Innovation Competition China Event Ⅱ: Casting Process Design Competition” (marked with a red rectangle, CPDC in short) selected in. CPDC has been selected in this report for three consecutive years so far. That means the level, form, effect and social impact of CPDC have been highly recognized by the College Competition Evaluation and Management System Research Expert Committee.

After 12 sessions, the level and influence of CPDC have been continuously improved since the first held in 2009. At present, more than 20,000 students from more than 100 colleges and universities have participated in CPDC because of its technical training effect.
